While working toward my college dreams as a high school student, I discovered an essential key to success: finding my own lane.
By learning to overcome the habit of seeking the “one best idea,” I streamlined my creative approach, sought out the unique lessons in my experiences, and spent more of my time uplifting my peers. I found success by focusing less on continual improvement—and more on the lessons that found me.
I developed more creative confidence—a challenge for any over-achiever—and began independently building my own applications and essays to share my authentic story.

By achieving my own acceptances to my dream schools—Yale, Penn, NYU, BC, and more—I also built early insights into elite college admissions.
While studying within the Ivy League, I learned more from my Penn peers about the mindset shifts that helped them succeed in selective admissions, in challenging coursework, in competitive fields—and in their own lives.
I began my college application consulting business in 2014, inspired by the opportunity to bring these insights to others. Since then, I have guided 300+ students toward success, building new insights throughout every successful college application cycle.
Inspired by 10 years of success and teary-eyed celebratory phone calls, I am thrilled to share my insights and continue my missions—upgraded.
