I am drawn to Bentley’s collaborative community—uniting students, athletes, leaders, and change-makers.

While advocating for human rights with [NPO Name], working with my DECA partner on health-related innovation, and learning about healthcare debt and solutions, I saw the importance of collaboration to make much-needed change. By exploring ideas with Bentley’s diverse community and building incredible foundations in actuarial science, I hope to learn how we can promote growth that is sustainable for businesses, communities, and our planet.

At Bentley, I look forward to problem-based learning in Long-Term Actuarial Mathematics and to hands-on team projects in New Venture Planning and Financing. Through an Internship in Mathematical Sciences, I would love to learn how companies can increase opportunities for local communities or create more affordable health-related innovations. I also hope to investigate with a Valente Center Student Research Assistantship, learning more about climate resilience, public policy, and sustainable cities.

Fortunate to visit campus and hear from members of the Bentley community this year, I have become even more excited about Bentley’s opportunities and values. I heard from so many inspiring people this fall, including dedicated members of Bentley Women’s Track & Field and incredible change-makers at the Women in Business Summit. I would love to join Bentley’s mission-driven community, discussing social issues in courses like Urban Politics and Policy, assisting outreach with Circle K, and hopefully making an even greater impact if selected for Bentley’s incredible WLP.
